The award, presented at the annual Asset Management Workshop in Pembroke, NH, recognizes Hancock’s exemplary efforts in developing and implementing a comprehensive asset management plan for its water system.
The John Jackman Asset Management Award is presented annually to municipalities in New Hampshire that demonstrate outstanding commitment to managing their infrastructure assets through proactive, data-driven asset management practices. The award recognizes communities that implement effective asset management plans to improve system reliability, reduce long-term costs, and enhance service to residents.
Dufresne Group worked closely with the Town of Hancock to develop a detailed asset management plan for the town’s water system. The collaboration involved a thorough evaluation of the water system’s assets, including the source, distribution lines, hydrants, valves, treatment, water services, and the creation of a data-driven strategy to prioritize maintenance, replacements, and upgrades.
